About Us

Degu Samrawi began with the youth of Bishoftu and today brings together young members across several cities.

Our Story

The association began its work by providing holiday packages to vulnerable people. Today it celebrates four holidays a year — New Year, Gena (Christmas), Ramadan, and Fasika (Easter) — reaching more than fifty vulnerable people at each one.

Every summer, through the "Enastemrachew" (Let's Teach Them) initiative, it supports children of vulnerable parents with school supplies, and it continuously assists people on a day-to-day basis.

Our Motto

"Youth for Goodness" — youth are known in society as caring supporters, fresh energy, and the future stewards of the country. We work to show this in action.
