Degusamrawi is a legally registered charity that helps the underprivileged on a regular basis, as well as with holiday gifts, educational materials, clothing, hygiene products, and daily support.

Our Programs
From holiday gifts to daily support — our five core programs.
Holiday Gift Packages
Our association currently delivers holiday gift packages four times a year | New Year, Gena[Christmas] ,Ramadan, and Fasika[Easter] to around 100 people in total. Each package contains a chicken, 3 kg of onions, 1liters of oil, 1/2 kg of berbere[paper], and 10 eggs.
Enastemrachew (Let's Teach Them)
The main goal is to support children from incapable families who have bright futures of their own with learning materials and supporting ideas. We have been providing this support for the past three years. In the summer of 2018, we were able to provide 1 dozen exercise book, pens, pencils, rubber and sharpener to about 100 children, each from kindergarten to 12th grade.
Clothe Them with Love
"Enalbsachew" - Clothes Sharing Campaign Starting with the love word "He who has two, give one to him who has none", we have collected clothes that are our extras - the main thing for others: We collected clothes from volunteers and delivered them to many of our people on the streets at different times from benefactors. This campaign will be carried out whenever we receive support.
For My Sister (Lenewa Ehete)
It was started to help women and mothers with hygiene. It was started by observing the lack of awareness and hygiene in our country, especially in rural areas and small schools. In this year 2018, we provided sanitary pads to about 80 female students along with laundry soap and awareness education. In addition, emergency support pads were provided to the school's women's clubs.
Day-to-Day Support
The association currently rents a house for 2 people on a daily basis; it also covers the cost of daily food expenses; it covers the education costs of 3 students; it provides health care for all its members, from treatment to purchasing medicines; and it has provided full medical insurance coverage for 3 families.
